Supervised Access to Online Services at GDHS

At Gnowangerup District High School (GDHS), we provide supervised access to a variety of online services that support teaching, learning, and school administration. These services include websites, web-based platforms, and mobile applications delivered over the internet.

We are committed to protecting the safety and privacy of our students’ personal information. In doing so, GDHS complies with the Australian Privacy Principles and relevant laws governing the use of Online Third Party Services.

What Are Online Third Party Services?

Online Third Party Services are digital tools provided by organisations external to the school. These services are vital for modern education but may be hosted outside of Australia. In some cases, parental consent is required before we can share any student information with these providers.

How Does GDHS Ensure Safety?

The Department of Education has conducted security and privacy risk assessments on all third-party services used at our school. For each service, you can find details including:

  • Purpose of use

  • Terms of use

  • Privacy policies

  • How information is collected, used, and shared

This information helps families make informed decisions about the digital tools used in their child’s education.

What Do Parents Need to Do?

Please review the information provided for each service by clicking the button below and give your consent where required for your child to access these online services.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact the school office via 9827 3300.

Thank you for supporting safe and effective use of digital technologies at GDHS.
